La agrupación Profesional Associated Developers ha fijado la fecha de su primer congreso para el 24 de junio en Barcelona. La asociación, nacida recientemente bajo el auspicio de varias empresas del sector, se define a sí misma como abierta, activa, inclusiva y horizontal, con el objetivo de responder a las necesidades reales de los creadores de la industria del videojuego. Actualmente ya engloban a sesenta empresas del sector.
La presidenta de PAD, Eva Gaspar, ha declarado que “organizar un congreso por y para developers es uno de sus objetivos principales”. Un evento centrado en las relaciones públicas, en el networking, que “pretende servir de plataforma a los creadores de videojuegos tanto para presentar sus últimos proyectos como para contactar con otros desarrolladores”. Todo bajo el subtítulo de The Networking Party.
El congreso incorporará un espacio para los últimos videojuegos creados por los participantes, mesas redondas para debatir sobre la industria, talleres y ponencias de algunos representantes destacados de la industria. Entre ellos Hironao Kunimitsu, director ejecutivo de la editora japonesa Gumi, junto a María Alegre, cofundadora y directora ejecutiva de la plataforma ChartBoost, y a Dajana Dimovska, la productora del estudio danés Knapkok Games y cofundadora de la Conpenhaguen Game Collective.
El evento tendrá lugar el día 24 de junio en la Fábrica Moritz de Barcelona y las entradas ya se encuentran disponibles bajo venta anticipada. El coste es de 30€, aunque existe un descuento en el caso de adquirirlas antes del 14 de junio.
